How to Measure

Bras

For the most part, You! Lingerie bras are true to size. However, due to the change in size that accompanies pregnancy and breastfeeding, we recommend getting professionally fitted at any lingerie store near you to find out your true size as errors are more likely with self measurements. If you are unable to get a professional fitting, have someone other than yourself take your measurements as it is usually more accurate.
We recommend wearing a non padded bra and using a soft tape measure to do this. This bra can be underwire or wireless, your choice. Make sure your breasts are not sagging; If they are, adjust your straps by tightening them until the crest of your breasts is approximately half way between your shoulder and your elbow.

STEP 1: MEASURING YOUR BAND SIZE
Your band size is the circumference measurement around your rib cage. Holding the measuring tape parallel to the ground, measure around your rib cage directly under your bust after exhaling. Round the measurement to the nearest whole inch number, up or down.
Using this number, see our band size chart below and find your measurement and your estimated band size.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For band measurements 39 inches and higher, the band size should be the closest higher even number to your actual measurement.  A 41 inch and a 41.5 inch measurement are both equal to a 42 band.
 Band Sizing Chart
STEP 2: MEASURING YOUR BUST SIZE
Continue to keep the measuring tape parallel to the ground and measure around the fullest part of your bust. Make sure you are standing straight with your arms at your side. Round the measurement up or down to the nearest whole number like you did previously in Step 1.

STEP 3: CALCULATING YOUR CUP SIZE
Subtract the band size measurement (number from step 1) from the bust size measurement (number from step 2). This number represents your cup size. For every inch in difference the cup size goes up one size starting at A for one inch difference, B for two inches difference, C for three inches difference and so on.
For example, if bust size is 35 and band size is 32, your cup size is:
35" - 32" = 3" = C
Bra size is 32C

How To Buy Lingerie For a Woman

Buying lingerie for a wife or girlfriend seems simple, but there are plenty of ways to screw it up. So we asked real-live women to tell us what they look for in their underwear.

When you give a woman underwear she likes, it has a powerful effect. Specifically, it makes her want to have sex with you. Hot sex. And lots of it.

But keep in mind I said underwear she likes. It needs to be the right style, the right size, and the right color. It needs to come at the correct point in the relationship. And it needs to be given on an appropriate occasion. (Think her birthday is appropriate? Read on.) Mess up any of that, and you’re going to have one annoyed, self-conscious, and/or weirded-out lady on your hands.
It may sound complicated, but all you really need to do is follow a few simple pieces of advice in order to get major relationship points — and all that sex I mentioned.

 CHOOSE THE RIGHT TIME
There’s really only one hard-and-fast rule about the right point in a relationship to get lingerie for a woman: You can only do it after you’ve slept with her. Do it any sooner and and the perv alert will instantly go off in her head. But that’s not the only thing that you have to keep in mind. How long you should wait after you’ve had sex depends on the woman in question, according to Amanda Horan Kennedy, psychotherapist and CEO of the lingerie line Sassybax. “If you’ve noticed that she always wears matching bra and panties, she’ll probably appreciate the gift early in the relationship.”
If, however, she tends to wear whatever happens to be clean (if she doesn’t even worry about it being clean, you’re gonna have worse problems than figuring out how to buy her underwear), wait at least a month. That way she won’t think you’re being critical of her current underwear selection or trying to turn her into someone she’s not.
And whatever you do, avoid giving her underthings on her birthday. “For a birthday, she wants something she can show off to her friends,” Kennedy says. “Plus, lingerie is as much a gift to the giver as it is to the recipient, so don’t make her special day about you.” All other occasions— New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, Secretary’s Day — are game on

 DON’T BE CREEPY
You may feel sleazy when you’re surrounded by lingerie in a store. Well, that’s probably because you look sleazy surrounded by lingerie in a store. If you’re self-conscious about it, you may skulk around, avoid eye contact, and refuse help. But it’s not like you’re there to buy something for yourself or to eyeball the mannequins … uh, right? … so there’s no reason to feel weird. That’s why you should walk right up to a sales associate and say, “I’m looking for something for my girlfriend/wife.” She’ll take it from there.
Before you hit the mall, you need to figure out your lady’s size. The best way is to check the tags on pieces she already owns. “When in doubt, go larger than you think she is in the bra and smaller in the panty,” Kennedy suggests. Most women would rather believe you imagine they’re better endowed in the chest and more petite in the ass.
Just don’t use the person helping you as a size reference: “Her boobs are about as big as yours — what size are you?” The only thing creepier than a guy who keeps to himself in a lingerie store is a guy who flirts with the saleswoman.

FIT THE STYLE TO HER PERSONALITY
It’s been scientifically proven that men are incapable of distinguishing trashy from sexy, so please, please don’t go with your instincts when it comes to picking out underthings and buy those crotchless panties and tassled bra.
Instead, take her personality and personal style into consideration before choosing what to purchase. No clue what that means? Luckily, we have a handy little guide for you.
If she’s a jeans and t-shirts kind of girl: Stick with simple and elegant like a lace boyshort and matching camisole. (Don’t worry, the salesperson will know what all that means.) A set like this can basically double as pajamas, so a woman who’s never worn lingerie before won’t feel silly and uncomfortable.

If she’s wild in the bedroom: Got a sexpot on your hands? Get her something costume-y like a corset, thong, and garters. Just don’t get her an actual costume. Whips, cat ears, French maid aprons — these are the things that ruin what could have been a nice gift. (And besides, she’ll dress like that next Halloween anyway.)

Oh, and only buy pieces with lots of hooks, clasps, ties, and buttons if you’re willing — and able — to undo them all.

If she’s shy or self-conscious about her body: When buying underwear for the little lady, your first instinct may be to get whatever is the most revealing. Well, if she’s shy, ignore that instinct and instead get a sheer teddy and full-coverage underwear. Women find it really difficult to get in the mood when they’re worried about how they look, so opting for something conservative — we’re talking in relative terms here — will actually work in your favor.

If you have no idea what she’s like: Hey, F-buddies enjoy gifts too. A silk or sateen balconette bra and a matching thong or brief are a sure thing. And even the low-end ones look luxe.
Look for one with minimal detailing — like a few bows or some lace trim.

 DON’T GET NUDE
“Nude is the most popular color of intimate apparel a woman buys herself,” Kennedy says. “So avoid giving that color as a gift.” It feels too practical and everyday. Plus, you run the risk of her thinking it’s shapewear (the modern day version of girdles) and getting offended.
Oh, and in case you haven’t noticed, flesh-colored undies also tend to turn women into mannequin-like genital-less beings. And you do not think that’s sexy … I hope.

 BE CAREFUL WITH PASTELS
You’re going to see a lot of light shades on your shopping trip. It’s OK to go with a pale pink or a sky blue, but only in solids. Light colors in patterns — like flowers or polka dots — can look too little-girly.

SPEND MONEY ON RED
Many women love red or hot-pink — especially on Valentine’s Day — but be warned: If you’re not buying high-end stuff, lingerie in those colors can easily look cheap and tacky once it’s on.
So skip the mall and try a boutique, where everything will be of higher quality and save you from sending her a message that you want her to look trashy.

WHEN IN DOUBT, BET ON BLACK
It’s flattering next to all skin tones, it’s slimming, and it’s always classic while remaining sexy. Bottom line: It’ll look good wrapped in tissue paper when you present it, it’ll look good on her, and it’ll look good in a heap on the floor next to the bed.

Sizzling Sex Tips – Sex tips from a Real Male Escort

Straight from the horses mouth, a man who has pleasured hundreds of women. Luke shares his pearls of pleasure to teach you the ten ways to show your man you’re a sex siren and how to get more out of your sexlife.
1. Use your bed only for sex and sleep.
It’s called the bedroom for a reason. Once you invite books or the telly into the your relationship to help you wind down for the night, it will be your sex life that will be doomed to a downward spiral.
Keep the lights fixed low and the furnishings and fabrics rich and inviting so that as soon as you step into the room the scene is already set either for a hot night of passion or a luxurious sleep.
2. Set time aside.
People lead such busy lives that if you leave sex to happen by chance and when you’re both in the mood, you could quickly end up leaving it out of your life all together.
Retain its importance by booking a slot in your schedule. And even if you can only find a spare half hour, divide that time into, say, giving each other a massage, foreplay and then the fullblown sex so that the experience remains a shared and intimate one.
3. Dress the part.
Make it very clear by the way you dress what you’re after and the treat that’s in store for your partner. Make the effort to dress sexily and you’ll be rewarded for it. A hint of enticing lingerie under your ordinary
clothes will set his pulse racing. When you start to undress, ask him to help. Keep nightwear seductive. Alternate between what you enjoy wearing and what especially works for him.
4. Enjoy yourself.
Sex should never be a chore. You’re entering the bedroom as much for yourself as for your guy. Your own confidence is a vital contribution to a good and varied sex life. So look forward to any session as an opportunity for you to get as much out of it as you’ll be giving him. Sex should always be a win:win experience.
5. Massage each other.
Massage is an excellent way of easing into sex for both of you. Most women prefer foreplay to get them into the mood, and a lot of men can’t perform to order. Take the opportunity to discover your guy’s favourite erogenous zones. Keep your mind on what’s to follow and adapt the lightness of your touch to rev him up so he’s begging for it!
6. Talk dirty.
Communication between lovers is key. Spice him up by saying what you’d really like to do to him, and what works for you too. Tell each other what you find sexy about them. Compliment him on how well he’s doing and it’ll encourage him to compliment you back. It’ll turn him on too. If he’s not hitting the spot, don’t criticise him but instead direct him to where he definitely will!
7. Take more control.
Decide whether you plan on being dominant or submissive in your sex life. And be prepared to switch from time to time. Guys tend to love it when their partners turn dirty, especially if normally you’re more of a pussycat. Telling him what you’re after will take a bit of pressure off him too.
8. Spice up your life with sex toys
Step outside your comfort zone and experiment with bringing a range of toys into the sex mix. A proactive woman is a real turn on for a lot of guys, so show off your expertise, whether that’s getting him to watch you pleasure yourself or turning the tables so you go to work on him. And then it’s his turn. Vary your sexual positions too to add further variety to your sex life.
9. Use your imagination.
Tell each other your fantasies. Introduce bondage; take turns to tie up each others arms and take control. Or use blindfolds so the pleasure comes through sensation. Take a shower together. Or shave each other. Visit a sex shop together for ideas and equipment. Such mutual exploration and pushing of boundaries will heighten the sexual temperature for both of you.
10. Start dating again.
Should your sexual relationship start to flag, take a step back and rewind to what got you going in the first place. Go out for the evening as part of the foreplay, and wend your way back to the bedroom. Or spend an entire Sunday afternoon getting back in touch with each other. Be sure to set the mood and be clear from the start how the two of you will be spending this time together.

6 Ways to Tell If Your Bra Fits

View
When you wear a bra that fits correctly, it will be comfortable and supportive -- all day long. Plus, you will instantly look better in all your clothes.

Who wouldn't want that?
But, sometimes it can be hard to tell if a bra fits the way it should.

View
Follow these 6 simple steps, and you'll be able to decide if a bra fits -- all you need is a mirror.

 1. Check the Gore
  • What's the gore?
The gore is the center panel of an underwire bra -- the part of the bra that connects the cups in the front, between the breasts.
Not all bras have the same type or size gore, and some styles don't have this part at all. But if your bra has an underwire, then the gore will always be the part that's 'center front' -- and it should typically lie flat against your body.

  • How to Check the Gore's Fit:
Move around -- is the gore rising up off your chest?

This is a common sign of an ill-fitting bra. The gore should stay flat against your sternum, even as you move around, bend over, or lift your arms up over your head.

When the gore doesn't lie flat, the cups may be too small, or the bra style may not be a good fit for your body type.
However, every 'rule' has exceptions.
"Minimizer bra styles tend to not rest against the breastbone, and this is fine,"

 2: Check the Straps
  • Do your straps constantly slip off your shoulders?
Your bra might not be the right style for your body type -- the straps might be too wide-set.

Women who are petite or have narrow shoulders often have this issue, and sometimes can't wear bras with wide-set straps.

  • Do your straps feel too tight?
The straps should fit securely, but not tight -- check for red marks or indentations on your skin.

Your bra's straps are not solely responsible for providing lift and support -- that's a job for the back band and cups. They shouldn't feel uncomfortable, even if you wear a large cup size.
3: Check the Band
  • Does the back band ride up your back?
The band should lie straight against the middle of your back, parallel to the floor.
"It should lie below your shoulder blades,"If your band is riding up, then the band size may be too big.
  • Is the band digging into your skin?
The band shouldn't feel so tight that it's uncomfortable. If it does, then it's too small.
It should be snug -- but not tight.

  • Another tip: If a new bra has an adjustable back band with several hooks, it's best if it fits on the tightest hook. You'll have room to adjust it, when it stretches out -- and all bras will eventually stretch due to normal washing and wearing.
4: Examine the Cups
  • Are there any bulges?
Check the top edge of your bra cups for any signs of 'spillage'. Make you sure your chest doesn't 'bubble' over the top edge of the cups.

Check all angles, looking at your side view in a mirror. You shouldn't see any spillage there, either.
  •  What if you're wearing a sexy, revealing demi-cup style bra?
    Bulges are still a no-no!

There's a difference between showing the top of your chest the correct way -- above revealing, demi-style bra cups -- and when your chest is bulging out the wrong way. The top of your chest doesn't need to be completely covered, but it should look flush with the part of your chest that's contained in your bra cups -- not bulging out.

This is a common fit mistake that may be hard to spot at first, but try on different style bras until you know how to spot a bulge.

If you wear a large cup size or have a full figure:
It may be easier to spot a bulge if you put on a form-fitting T-shirt over the bra you're trying on. You can also feel the top of your T-shirt to make sure your chest -- and the spot where your bra cups end - are a "smooth slope" -- not bumpy and lumpy.

Any bulges or 'spillage' are signs that you need a larger cup size. If that doesn't work, you may need a more full-coverage style, or a bra that's designed for plus-sizes.
Are there any gaps inside the bra cup?
Check the part of your bra where the strap attaches to the cup.

If there's any extra room, or any wrinkles on the outside of the cup, then your cup size is too big.
5: Is the Underwire a Good Match for your Body Type?
  • Does the underwire feel comfortable as you move around?
The underwire should lie flat against your skin, without moving away from your body.

If it doesn't, you may need to try a different brand, bra style, or band size. Underwires are made in different lengths, and each type gives cups a different shape curve, depending on the bra's style and brand.

  • Do you feel the wire poking near your underarm?
"This is a common issue among shorter women, because the wire is too long for your body type," A smaller cup size, or smaller cup style, such as a demi-cup, will have a shorter wire and may fit better.
 6: Check the Overall Look
  • Does your chest look like it's pushed too close together -- or too far apart?
Your band size may be wrong, or the bra style isn't right for your body type.

  • Is your bra forcing your chest to extend beyond the sides of your torso?
This is a common fit mistake, which causes many women to look top-heavy.

Check a mirror from all angles to make sure your chest is in line with the sides of your body. Your chest should only extend out in front of your torso, not from the sides.

If you realize you have this issue, you'll be amazed at how much thinner you'll look the second you find a bra that fits better. (Check yourself out in a form-fitting T-shirt -- it'll be easier to notice the difference.)
    View
The Bottom Line

Now that you know some of the tips and tricks the experts use to assess a bra's fit, bra shopping will undoubtedly be less stressful -- and more fun.

Just remember -- don't ever trust the size on a tag, and don't settle for anything less than a perfect fit.

How to Flatter Your Body Shape With Lingerie

If you’re not sure what’s the most flattering lingerie for your body shape, then we’ve got some great tips to help you choose the sexiest lingerie styles for your figure!

Make sure you’re accentuating your best features. Whether they’re great legs, killer cleavage, or toned rear, accentuating your best features is your first step. Once you know what you want to show off (or hide!) you’re well on the way to being able to pick the right style of lingerie for you. Got a killer cleavage? Then make sure you show it off! An underwired bra is great for lifting the breasts, and depending on the style of bra it can also give you a terrific cleavage too! A balcony style bra is great for uplift and silhouette, whilst a plunge or push-up bra will give you oodles of cleavage! Basques and corsets are also great for giving your breasts lots of uplift, plus they also accentuate your waistline, and cover tummies too – no wonder we love them!

Choose the most flattering combination. Whilst matching bra and briefs are the classic combination, they’re not always the most flattering choice for everyone. So if you’re looking for lingerie you can undress to impress with, and you’re conscious of your tummy or thighs, you might want to consider an alternative. A sexy chemise or babydoll are great for hiding bits! Depending on the style of the babydoll, the flowing skirt can be terrific for hiding tummies and tops of thighs – particularly if you steer clear of too sheer a material. We also love chemises for the same reason, in fact they generally cover up more than a babydoll, plus there are lots of sexy styles and fabrics to choose from – and they always look sexy!
View

Give some thought to what you’ll be wearing with your bra, basque or corset. If you’re buying a set they’ll normally come with briefs, shorties, thong or g-string. So think about what will be the most flattering style for your shape. Thongs or g-strings mean your rear is going to be a main focus if you’re wearing a bra, basque or corset! But if your rear is not one of your best assets, you may want to think about shorties, briefs or french knickers instead. Alternatively, a sexy way to draw attention away is to wear some sexy stockings or hold-ups to accentuate your legs. Although if you’re accentuating your cleavage with a killer bra, basque or corset we can pretty much guarantee all eyes are going to be drawn there anyway! But any excuse to wear stockings or hold-ups is a good one!

Guidelines for Guys: What is Sexy Lingerie?

One person can find a garment like crotchless panties sexy while someone else will find them disgusting. One may find sheer lingerie sexy while another prefers lace. So, how does a husband navigate this sexy lingerie minefield when trying to buy their wife a sexy piece of lingerie? Here are a few guidelines.

First, black is always safe. The color is sexy, but also slimming. Everyone feels good in black. Next, err on the more conservative side with your first purchase. Don’t start with chopper bras and crotchless panties.

Begin with a sexy yet pretty negligee with lace and matching panties. Float that balloon first. Based on the reaction and feedback, you can move up the risqué meter to more sheer and more revealing items. And, of course, there are costumes, but that should come later.

What to Look for When Shopping
It’s a lot easier if you know her sizes. If you don’t, take a look in her lingerie drawer and check the label on a bra—the size should be right there—34B, 38DD, something like that. Panties are in sizes usually from XS through XXL. Sometimes they’re numerical, ranging from about 5-10. You might also take a peak at brand names—especially on items she wears all the time.

Now you’ve got the critical info—what to buy? Well, if you see quite a few of the same brand, you can take it up a notch and choose a luxury item in that brand. Or, how about buying her something you know she won’t buy for herself? Some suggest that thongs are the most comfortable panties ever, but some women won’t even try them. Let her try them out on your dime.

If you absolutely can’t find her sizes, you’ve got a few choices: guess and hope for the best, ask her outright, or buy something not quite as dependent on fit, like a silk nightgown or slinky robe.

Of course you’d like something you want to see her in, but if it’s too gimmicky or plain uncomfortable she’ll might wear it for you, but it won’t leave the drawer more than a few times a year—and that's probably being generous. The key is to choose something that’ll let her know you think she’s special, but will also be comfortable for her. Many women are so hung up about body image that they don’t realize that, to the men who love them, they are hot, hot, hot. So if you bought her a blender for the holidays or her birthday, this is the time to go all out and show her how she looks in your eyes.

Good Girlfriend Behavior: Do This, Not That

Good Girlfriend Behavior: Do This, Not That

Every girl knows the golden relationship rules — like tell your guy how great he is in bed, not how amazing your ex was. But there are other guidelines that aren't so obvious. Behold, the ultimate cheat sheet.

Wearing Lingerie

Do This: Wear a matching lace bra and underwear.
Sets that come in white or pastel colors — think lavender or light pink — give him a little peek at what's in store while you still look feminine and innocent.

Wearing Lingerie

Not That: Wear something he needs an engineering degree to get off of you.
Teddies and little nighties with ties, buckles, and bows are hot, but he’ll be too busy trying to figure out how to get you out of it to notice how amazing you look.

Failing to Orgasm

Do This: Let him know you still enjoyed it.
Giving him a deep kiss when the deed is done shows him that, even though you didn't reach the finish line, it still felt damn good. To up your odds of peaking next time, guide his hand. He'll appreciate the help.

Failing to Orgasm

Not That: Fake it.
He will think everything was satisfactory and won't learn what it takes to actually get you off. Now that would be seriously tragic.

Visiting His Parents

Do This: Bring them something homemade.
Showing up with freshly baked oatmeal-raisin cookies shows you spent time thinking about them instead of just swinging by the store. Plus, his mom will be thrilled her son's babe can bake.

Visiting His Parents

Not That: Bestow flowers or anything pricey.
Fresh-cut flowers require the hostess to duck into the kitchen to arrange them, and over-the-top gifts (such as a crazy-expensive bottle of wine or a crystal vase) are, well, over the top.

Going Away for the Weekend

Do This: Go to the beach or the mountains.
In the beginning of a relationship, take an adventure-based trip, like going surfing or snowboarding. The adrenaline rush will boost your bond, and a built-in activity safeguards against awkward downtime.

Going Away for the Weekend

Not That: Check in to a sleepy bed and breakfast.
Staring at each other over fresh coffee and croissants and going antiquing all day may sound romantic to you, but these kinds of esoteric activities bore most men to death.

How to Buy Hot Lingerie

How to Buy Hot Lingerie

Babydoll

What it is: A little nighty, usually cut high on the thigh and low on the bodice. Sometimes these have a peek-a-boo slit down the front.
Who it's best for: Since babydolls aren't fitted to the body, they're perfect for larger women or women who are self conscious about their stomach.
The experts say: The cut calls attention to the bust while offering teasing glimpses of other parts — a safe bet if a lady isn't an exhibitionist. Because it touches so much of her skin, make sure to pick a soft or silky fabric.

Thong

What it is: Oh, you know what it is. (And if you don't: A minimal panty with a thin strip of fabric running up the back that leaves the derrière fully exposed.)
Who it's best for: Girls who already own them.
The experts say: Get a one-size-fits-all thong and choose one with a flat back panel that will lie smoothly against her body without causing muffin top.

Push-up Bra

What it is: A bra padded to make the bust look larger and push the breasts upward to create cleavage.
Who it's best for: A girl with small or sagging breasts.
The experts say: The sign of a quality push-up bra is its structure, which means you absolutely must get the right size.

Lingerie Buying - How to flatter her figure, pick colors and more

Chocolate makes you fat, flowers die and great jewelry is a strain on the budget. Lingerie, on the other hand, is the gift that truly keeps on giving.

Here's how to buy it right.

 Pure flattery
Not every woman feels comfortable with baring her bottom in a sexy thong.
Put some thought into what body parts she feels most comfortable with and choose lingerie to complement.
A few ideas:
  • Show off nice legs in something short like a baby doll or short chemise.
  • Play up good cleavage with a halter or bustier style.
  • Display toned arms with a camisole.

Have fun

Get her in touch with her inner child by choosing fun prints like cherries or clouds. Or appeal to her wilder side: animal prints, lace or bold colors like red are perfect.

Colors

Black, red and white (or off-white) look good on almost everyone. Blondes look great in pastels, and brunettes can carry off stronger colors like purple and emerald green. Redheads do best with greens, blues and earthy tones.

Soft touch

If you like touching the garment, she'll like wearing it. Velvet, silk and satin have lots of tactile appeal. If you're buying online, stick with fabrics that you already know what they feel like.

Get comfy

Casual, updated intimates come in styles like tank tops, bikinis and p.j.s. Look for cotton, flannel or other naturally cozy fabrics.

Sizes

The best way to find her correct size is to ask.
Alternatives: you can snoop around the lingerie drawer to find the sizes of stuff she already owns. Or you can guess (tricky territory -- Lingerie.com even promotes the amusing "fruit comparison" method for finding cup size.)

Presentation

Don't forget to wrap the lingerie (or have it professionally wrapped) with beautiful paper and a lots of lush tissue paper. You can get creative and make bags or baskets with related items, like a book of poetry, a bottle of champagne or great-smelling body products and candle.

Key styles

  • Chemise - A straight gown that skims the body.
  • Negligee - A loose, usually sheer, gown.Peignoir set - Negligee that includes a matching sheer robe.
  • Babydoll - A short gown that fits around the bust, flares toward hemline.
  • Pajamas - Pants and top, originally styled after men's p.j.s.
  • Bustier - A usually strapless elongated bra that provides extra lift to the breasts.
  • Camisole - A sleeveless top that can be paired with matching undies or worn under a jacket for work.
  • Teddy - A one-piece style, similar to a bodysuit.
  • Tap pants - Soft, very short version of boxing shorts.
  • Thong - Provides coverage in the front of the panty with a thin strap in the back.
Enjoy!!!!!!

How to Dress Sexy

Sometimes, it's the tiniest tweaks to what you wear — and bare — that can transform you into a bombshell. Just mix and match a few of these tips, and chances are those clothes won't stay on for long (nor will you want them to).

Invest in some little black undies

You already know that a little black dress is a crucial component of any gal's wardrobe. Well, here's another essential: a barely-there lace bikini or thong in noir. Now you'll never be at a loss for what to wear under that little black dress, or be shy about showing it off.

Put on clothes that say "pet me"

Silk, suede, cashmere, faux fur...unlike your usual cotton duds, these materials feel amazing against your skin and beg to be caressed. Talk about an easy way to get your guy's hands all over you.

Lay on the eyeliner

Slightly smudged black eyeliner = smoldering sexpot. Put it on. Look in the mirror. Feel like doing something very, very bad tonight? We thought so.

Glam up your hands...

Manicures turn everyday mitts into instruments of mass seduction. Suddenly, every gesture you make seems mesmerizing; every object, person, or (ahem) body part you touch gets stroked in a more sensual way.

Transport yourself to the tropics

Wear a sprig of freesia or jasmine in your hair to feel incredibly island-sexy all day. Smells yummy and looks even yummier.

Wear fire-engine red

There's a reason why red was picked to paint stop signs: It's one very arresting color. Wear a red dress, red shoes, red anything, and it'll make you feel on fire.

Apply lipstick in front of him

This old-school sexy move is one few men can resist. How could they? After all, you're lavishing attention on your luscious lips.

Put on an animal print

Even the smallest accent — a leopard-print scarf, a zebra thong — will make you feel a little more feral.

Slip into a strappy tank top

Bra optional. Then watch him try to keep his eyes off you.

Try his clothes on for size

There's something about a woman lounging around in a man's white work shirt. Is it the stark contrast of a crisp, starched collar against bare skin? The fact that you're enticingly marking your territory? The way that, when open except for one strategically located button, the material skims thighs and covers the bare minimum of what needs covering and no more? We don't know, and frankly, we don't care. All we know is, it works!

Surprise him with a garter belt

Haven't worn one since your wedding? Then it's time to give him a second viewing. (It'll transform you into a sultry femme fatale from a forties movie; perhaps he'll want to role-play the hard-boiled private eye.) On your next night out, slide your guy's palm under your skirt just high enough so that he comes across your little surprise. A sexy mystery will begin!

Wear a candy necklace one night

To get him nibbling, tell him it's his dessert.

Untame your mane

Every once in awhile, don't bother blow-drying or styling your hair. Your slightly tousled tresses may tease out a little more of your wild side.

Wear heels...and nothing else

When getting undressed one evening, take off everything but your stilettos. Casually walk around as if you just haven't bothered to kick them off yet and see how long it takes him to pounce.

Slip into something comfortable

We know, full-length silk slips faded from women's wardrobes back in the 1940s. Here's why we should bring 'em back: First, they feel amazing under whatever you're wearing. Second, they look amazing in an Elizabeth Taylor, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof kind of way. Make sure it's the first thing he sees you put on in the morning — and the last thing you peel off come nighttime — to spark some Old Hollywood-style romance and feel like a silver screen siren.
